Steerprop strengthens its organization in Asia – PR News Blog

Steerprop strengthened its presence in China and Southeast Asia by appointing two seasoned experts in propulsion and ship engineering, Ayhwa Ngoh as regional sales manager in Singapore and Robbie Wang as general sales manager in China.

Robbie wang graduated from Wuhan University of Technology, specializing in marine power systems, and started in the marine industry as a design engineer at Jiangnan Shipbuilding Co Ltd.

“I joined Rolls-Royce Marine China in 2001, where I held various managerial positions in sales, contract management and sales of services,” explains Robbie Wang. “As a Navy Insider, I pay close attention to sustainable solutions as well as the latest technology, and in that sense Steerprop is one of the world’s leading propulsion manufacturing companies. “

Ayhwa Ngoh has worked with various marine projects for 17 years, and has experience in technical and commercial projects at local and global level. He is based in Singapore but will represent Steerprop throughout South East Asia. Prior to joining Steerprop, he worked as Regional Sales Manager / Naval Architect for Wärtsilä Ship Design in South East Asia, Middle East and Taiwan.

“The job was to identify future trends and provide customers with solutions to technical issues as well as develop new business opportunities,” says Ayhwa. “This new work is truly inspiring, as Steerprop offers tailor-made propulsion systems, even for the most demanding conditions. “

Robbie and Ayhwa will report to Juho rekola, Director of Sales and Project Management at Steerprop. He is convinced that they are a perfect match for the goal of expanding Steerprop’s market in China and Southeast Asia.

“They both have a solid knowledge of marine propulsion solutions and a ‘determined to perform’ attitude, and we are now able to better serve our customers around the world,” says Rekola. “These appointments strengthen our presence in the region and allow us to better serve our customers, from the design and construction phases to the operation and maintenance of vessels.
